We’re excited to have you on this journey of ministry training and spiritual growth! ASOM classes meet once a month, and you can register by simply selecting a course within your desired credentialing level—Certified, Licensed, or Ordained.
Classes are offered in person or online, and each course includes required reading and a study guide to be completed before attending. You’ll take the final exam during class time, and all course materials are provided and submitted through Google Classroom.
After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a direct link to your class portal.
Certified Level
Laying the Foundation for a Life of Ministry
The Certified Level is the first step in ASOM’s credentialing journey with the Assemblies of God. This level is designed for those who feel called to ministry and are ready to establish a strong biblical and practical foundation.
Students will explore essential topics such as Bible interpretation, spiritual leadership, and Pentecostal doctrine, while gaining hands-on ministry experience through a guided certified practicum. This includes opportunities to engage in personal evangelism, discipleship, pre-marital counseling, and sacerdotal functions such as communion and baptism.
Whether you're preparing for credentialing or simply seeking to grow in your calling, the Certified Level equips you with the tools, training, and support you need to begin serving effectively in your local church and community.

Licensed Level
Strengthening Your Capacity for Ministry Leadership
The Licensed Level builds upon the foundation of the Certified Level and is designed for leaders actively serving in ministry. This phase deepens biblical knowledge while equipping students with practical skills essential for effective church leadership.
Students will engage topics such as church administration, biblical counseling, personal finance, and benevolence ministry, and will participate in a licensed practicum that encourages hands-on learning in the context of real-world ministry.
This level is ideal for those leading ministries, preaching regularly, or stepping into staff roles within their church. With an emphasis on leadership development and pastoral care, the Licensed Level prepares students to serve with wisdom, integrity, and excellence.
